84% of Hyderabad IT Employees Have Liver Risk: Nadda

Haydarabad: On Thursday, the Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda alarm on Thursday, an alarm -related fat liver disease (MAFLD) and high prevalence of metabolic disorders associated with metabolic dysfunction, which requires an emergency and coordinated effect among the employees in Hyderabad’s IT sector.
Nadda referred to a study published in Nature Scientific reports, said that 84 percent of IT workers participating in Lok Sabha on Friday, Haydarabad, showed that 84 percent of CT workers showed the accumulation of liver, which is a fundamental indicator of MAFLD. In addition, 71 percent of them were obese and more than one third metabolic syndrome-a cluster of risk factor that increases fragility for cardiovascular disease and stroke.
Nadda said, “The health of India’s labor force is very important,” Nadda said. These guidelines focus on reducing healthy diets, regular exercise, weight control and intake of sugar and saturated fat.
Nadda, who answered the questions from Hyderabad deputy Asaduddin Owaisi and others, said that the last Indian Medical Research Council (ICMR) findings showed 37.19 percent of the prevalence of fatty liver disease even in rural Rajasthan and spread beyond urban centers.
In order to raise awareness, the government carries out comprehensive campaigns on printed, electronic and digital media platforms. The Indian Food Safety and Standards Authority (FSSAI) has published creative public social assistance materials, including short videos on liver health.
Recognizing the still nature of IT works, the Ministry of Ayush brought a five -minute “yoga break” protocol to be watched during office hours. It combines simple yoga postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama) and meditation (Dhyana) to promote physical and mental welfare.
In addition, integrated clinical guidelines have been published in order to provide a holistic national response with modern protocols of traditional Indian medicine. The states and trade union regions were asked to implement scanning and referral systems at the community level to assist early detection and intervention.
NADDA emphasized the cooperation and workplace health recommendations, especially in urban institutional ecosystems, to combat the rising tide of metabolic and lifestyle diseases.
Hyderabad’s SPOT LIGHT, BT labor, revives India’s public health machines to address an important but insufficient outbreak to maintain the welfare of millions of people in rapidly developing workplaces. The prevalence of increasing liver fat and obesity conditions in IT employees emphasizes the deep effect of established, high stressful working environments, commonly common in the technology industry. These findings have initiated health initiatives in India’s comprehensive workplace to protect the health of the young, urban labor force.
