Foreign Medical Graduates get relief as A.P. High Court asks APMC to issue PR to appellant

A great relief for the Foreign Medicine Graduates (FMGs) who struggled for permanent records (PRS) for 13 months, on a division of the Supreme Court of Andhra Pradesh on July 9, and a appeal of the Andhra Pradesh Medical Council (APMC) in June 19 (APMC) was made in a appeal in June 19 (APMC), 19 (APMC), 19 June (APMC). He directed.

It was opened by FMGs to order the Supreme Court by a author to give them to the APMC, which was later represented by the registration company, to give them a compulsory one -year internship.

On the other hand, APMC referred to NMC’s instructions dated November 22, 2023 and 7 December 2023, and stated that the petitions did not compensate for their online work with offline studies abroad and therefore did not take into account the request of APMC to give PR’s PRC.

On April 28, considering the NMC’s June 7, 2024 notification, the only judge rejected the petition. Later, an FMG, K. Vamsi applied for an appeal.

It can be noted that NMC has issued a two-year internship for FMGs who examined some of the courses during the COVİD-19 pandemi on June 7. However, after receiving back recoil from FMGs throughout the country, NMC issued another notification on 19 June 2024 for the continuation of the first notification.

The 19 June notification announced that those who compensate for online courses adequately and offline fields are suitable for one -year internship.

Many states followed the June 19 notification and allocated one -year internship to FMGs with valid compensation certificates, and andhra Pradesh followed the previous directives that required two or three -year internships, indicating that the certificates are not detailed.

In his decision on July 9, the Supreme Court broke the decision of the 28 April decision and said that the single judge did not take into account the public notification of NMC dated 19 June 2024 before rejecting the petition.

In its decision, the Council ordered the APMC to give the appeal to the appeal for completing the one -year internship specified in 2021 and 19 June in its compulsory rotating medical internship (CRMI) regulations.

The Council said that the APMC should verify the documents and that the person who appealed “meets the necessary public notification criteria dated 19.06.2024, will be given.

The counter, if the APMC doubts the accuracy of the documents, led the burden to valid the documents. The counter gave a timeline and said that all exercise should be completed before 9 August.

Andhra Pradesh Private Hospitals and Huzur Houses Association (APNA), who met the decision, said that the decision faced by foreign medical graduates last year.

APPA Province President Av Subba Redy, the court decided in favor of the appeal of the person, all appropriate candidates who meet the same criteria should be given PS, he said.
