Trump nominates Lindsey Halligan as U.S. attorney for Eastern Virginia

President Donald Trump nominated Lindsey Halligan as the best federal prosecutor of Virginia’s Eastern Region after the US lawyer’s release on Friday.
One Real social Explaining his post -nomination, Trump praised Halligan as a “hard, smart and loyal lawyer”, who has been in his legal orbit for years.
“[Halligan] Working with the extremely intelligent, fearless and Attorney General Pam Bondi and Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor Todd Blanche, has the power and determination of being absolutely extraordinary in this new and very important role. ”

Halligan was one of Trump’s lawyers to keep FBI’s raids on Mar-A-Lago, to keep classified documents. More recently, he participated in a White House effort to eliminate what the administration claims.
Trump takes advantage of the gaps to hold Alina Habba as a US lawyer by triggering the court conflict.
The nomination will blame Halligan as guilty by the administrative authorities in a long time enemy, New York Chief Public Prosecutor Letitia James.

James’ lawyers strongly rejected any claim and described the investigation as a political revenge.

Siebert said that he had sent his resignation to his colleagues on Friday evening, and Trump said in a social media post: “He didn’t leave, I fired him!”
Trump added that the state was supported by two democratic senators Mark Warner and Tim Kaine and added: “Next time, let him enter as a democrat, not a Republican.”
