The police say that a failed emergency call during a widespread optus deduction is not likely to cost his life.

A fire -wall update on Thursday, hundreds of calls in South Australia, Western Australia and Northern Region prevented hundreds of trio zero.

An eight -week -old child from Gawler West in the north of Adelaide was among the four death officials.

While the child’s family was influenced, the police now believed that the deduction is not unlikely to contribute to death.

SA Police said in a statement on Sunday, “The grandmother of the deceased, the police, the grandson, warned against the fact that his grandson is not breathing, he said he was trying to call 000 using his mobile phone.” He said.

“When his call was not connected, he immediately used another mobile phone at home and was successfully connected to 000.

“Preliminary investigations show that the child’s death, although the attempt to call 000 has failed, the Mulga St House (SA ambulance service) caused by any delay.”

SA police said that the investigation into the death of the 68 -year -old Queenstown woman was “more complex ve and continued to determine the effect of the deduction.

The deaths of two 49 -year -old men from Willetton and 49 -year -old from Kensington are also investigated on a mistake.

Optus General Manager Stephen Rue said that Optus is not aware of the “seriousness” of the deduction until it was reported by a customer at 13:30.

The update was canceled and access to the emergency line was restored after 13 hours.

Optus also contacted two complaints by the Ombudsman, the telecommunication industry, to inform the company about the deduction.

“Early review shows that we are not dealing with these calls as expected, Rue said Rue said.

“Optus will appoint an independent person to examine all this event in every aspect.”

Queensland Prime Minister David Crisafulli was informed by Steve Gollschewski, the best police of the state on Sunday.

Although the commissioner is “confident”, even though Queenslanders is not affected, Mr. Crisafulli said that the “deep dive” system of a system continues and that the state government would reach Optus.

In his statement to journalists, he said, “With great profits, we want to do better with all of them (Telcos),” he said.

In addition to investigations by the Federal Coalition, Optus and Australian Communication Media Authority, it calls for a broader independent investigation about the triple zero network.

Citizen leader David LittleProud said Optus’ behavior as a universal service provider was “disgusting ..

“Optus is just beyond the belief that Optus ignored the risks there so that the Australians can play three zero in their way to Blasé,” he said on Sunday morning.

“For this, they need to face penalties, the government needs to be destroyed.”

Sa Prime Minister Peter Malinauskas said he received a call to the Optus CEO before the problem was resolved.

“The lack of information flow to the appropriate officials of the Southern Australian government from Optus is a bit surprising and asks many questions,” he said.

Federal Communication Minister Anika Wells hit Telco because it did not take into account the suggestions of a review on the November 2023 deduction, where customers could not contact Triple-Zero.

“Most of the things that occur in this deduction are the failure to implement some of the suggestions, including the public warning or emergency services officials,” he said.

Mr. Rue defended not to explain the interruption until Friday night at a SNAP press conference after a day after the determination and correction of the problem.

He said Optus focused on identifying the facts and making welfare controls before informing governments and the public.
