Mal Lanyon named NSW police commissioner replacing Karen Webb | Australia news

Former NSW Police Commissioner Mal Lanon was named a new police commissioner of the state by replacing Karen Webb.

The NSW police are expected to be announced by Premier Chris Minns on Wednesday.

Lanon is currently the general manager of the NSW restructuring authority. It is expected to take a new role on October 1.
