7yo boy, man in 30s rushed to hospital after house fire in Melbourne

After a house exploded in the flames north of Melbourne, four people were taken to hospital.

Emergency services were called to a house in Whitmore in Hillside after a home fire reports around 9.30 on Tuesday night.

A 7 -year -old child and a man in his 30s fight for life after being taken out of the house and taken to a nearby hospital with critical injuries.

Firefighters fought fire while fighting fire created a poisonous smoke warning.

Another 9 -year -old child and a woman in her 30s were hospitalized, but less seriously injured.

As the investigations continue, the fire is not considered suspicious.
