John Mateer throwing hand surgery deals blow to Oklahoma quarterback

Oklahoma players John Mateer, a favorite of the Heisman Cup, needs surgery in the hands of right throwing – a big blow to Soons’ crime.

However, Mateer is expected to return “this season” for SOONERS, but they will have to survive until then.

Mateer is reported to deal with a broken bone in his right hand, according to ESPN, but it is not known how the injury occurred. He’s expected to miss about a month for SOONERS.

Oklahoma said that Mateer was subjected to injury in the first quarter of the win against Auburn, but continued to play. With a goal transition, 271 yard went to 36 in the air. He also made an attempt in a hurry.
