The video shows the baby lying between the stone and the garbage while a cattle shepherd sockets open her mouth, and when the stone is removed, the child starts to cry instantly. Shepherd and other peasants moved the child to the Bijolia State Hospital for emergency treatment. Doctors said the baby was 15 to 20 days. Medical staff found adhesive not only in the mouth but also in the child’s thighs.

Inspectors check the delivery records in nearby hospitals to identify the recently giving birth mothers.
Officers also interview residents in the surrounding villages while trying to watch the child’s parents.

In a second case in Jharkhand, a baby was recovered from a drainage with broken hands.
