White House says to prep for mass firings if government shuts down

According to a note obtained by the US media, the White House agencies told the Congress to prepare for mass ignition if it does not prevent the closure of a government next week.
In the note, if the Budget and Management Office Federal Agencies cannot meet the deadline for the 30th of September, the Congress cannot meet the deadline for “reduction of forces” for programs that will be financed.
The warning came on Tuesday after Trump rejected a meeting with the democrats who wanted to secure health financing as part of budget negotiations.
“We hope that the democrats in the Congress will not trigger a closure and that the steps mentioned above will not be necessary.”
The budget office grade warns especially for permanent fever for federal programs, projects and activities that are not “consistent with the priorities of the President”.
Many Federal State Institutions rely on the annual financing approved by the Congress. Each year, these agencies submit the demands of the Congress and the President must sign the budget legislation for the next financial year.
If an agreement cannot be reached at the beginning of the fiscal year on October 1, a closure occurs, ie all unnecessary optional functions.
Last week, the Republicans in the House of Representatives – with a Democrat – took a short -term measures to finance the government until November 20, but the Senate Democrats prevented the bill.
Instead, they proposed their own plans to restore the health funds of Trump’s megabil policy in July, also known as “one, great beautiful bill”, made upright cuts for Medicaid, the health program trusted by millions of disabled and low -income Americans.
On Tuesday, Trump said he canceled a meeting with Democratic Party leaders Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries and that their demands were “bad and ridiculous.”
“I decided that no meeting with congress leaders would be productive,” Trump said on social media.
After the news of the draft ignition note on Wednesday, the Democrats accused the White House of using their tactics.
“Donald Trump has been firing federal workers since the first day – not to manage, but to scare. He said. “This is nothing new and has nothing to do with financing the government.”
Since his assignment, Trump has already fired thousands of federal workers through an attempt to cost with the Ministry of Government Productivity (DOGE).
