Racing to build a quantum computer in Hyderabad

India’s first quantum computer is taking shape at the Raman Research Laboratory at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in Hyderabad. This isn’t some cobbled-together computing marvel, but something built from the ground up with the chips and physics shaping the next generation of computing devices. The principal investigator is Karthik Raman, a physicist who studied at IITD and MIT and worked at IBM before returning to academia. Shares his vision on World Quantum Day Hindus Seriş Nanisetti.
