Search underway for work release inmate accused of walking-off from assignment in Amite

Waiver: All people are assumed to be innocent until guilty proven.

Amite, la. (WGNO) – MPs at the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Office are looking for a working version prisoner accused of moving away from a mission on Saturday, September 27th.

TPSO officials said that 51 -year -old Christopher Delcambre, a part of a program that allows elite prisoners to work outside the prison, was allegedly away from his post in Florida Parishes Arena.

TPSO deputies said Delcambre was brought to the arena at 15:30 and that it was not calculated after completing the task.

According to MPs, Delcambre, who was reported to have ties with Abita Springs and Carriere, Mississippi regions, was the latest blue pants and a white shirt to the northeast.

TPSO officials, Delcambre’nin a drug case and Hammond’dan a crime theft case was imprisoned, he said.

According to TPSO, “There is no concern for the people at the moment. All Rodeo activities and activities planned for this evening are still planned to take place on time. As always, there will be enough security in the arena.”
