Labour’s newly introduced migration strategy has been sharply criticized by a leading immigrant campaignist who describes measures as ineffective and politically motivated. Migration Watch UK President Alp Mehmet responded to the proposals of the Interior Minister: “The lame measures proposed by Shabana Mahmood will have little effect on both legal and illegal migration.
