New York (Reuters) -US Federal prosecutors on Tuesday, a judge, hip -hop Mogul’s conviction of prostitution on the accusations of the Sean “diddy” scans for more than 11 years of imprisonment this week.
The prosecutors sought “at least 135 months in prison” and asked the court to give the court a fine of $ 500,000.
The 55 -year -old combs confronted behind a jury on July 2 to the fences for up to 20 years.
The jury was acquitted for the most serious numbers he faced, tribute and sex smuggling, with charges that could go to life imprisonment. Combs claimed that he was not guilty of all charges and is expected to object to his conviction.
He called on defense lawyers for a 14 -month imprisonment last week, arguing that Subramanian’s ex -girlfriends should not think of evidence that their combs were abused, because the jury members were acquitted of forcing him to gender.
Under such a sentence, the Combs would be released by the end of the year, because after the arrest of September 16, 2024, he would already be imprisoned at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center.
He founded Combs Bad Boy Records and was credited to make Hip-hop popular in American culture.
During the hearing, prosecutors said that two of Combs’s ex -girlfriend sometimes forced to participate in performances known as “freak offs”.
Both women said that Combs had physically attacked them and threatened to reduce financial support if they resist the encounters.
Combs lawyers argued that there is no direct connection between what they call domestic violence and the participation of women in “freak closing”, which ultimately causes their clients to be acquitted on sex smuggling and tribute counts.
