Bunbury boating incident: Teen rushed to hospital after boat capsized off coast of WA has died

A teenager was taken to the hospital in a critical situation after being taken on the southwest coast of WA on Friday afternoon.

The boat carrying four people was overthrown when it was shot by a wave and turned upside down on the shores of the Regional Liman town, about 2.5 hours south of Perth.

Young, then died while running to the Bunbury Regional Hospital, under normal road conditions another person was taken to the same hospital.

Four people were wearing life vests on the boat.

Three adults, one male and two women, were not safe and damaged, and the child is believed to be a family member.

Water police, local sea rescue teams and RAC rescue helicopter, Alabora was seen competing on the raised body of the boat.
