UK antisemitism ‘allowed to grow’, Jewish security group says before pro-Palestine protests | Antisemitism

The main Jewish security group, the Main Jewish security group, said after an attack on a Manchester synagogue that left three people dead.

Speaking before the planned palist marches on Saturday, Community Security Trust Policy President Dave Rich said that after the attack on Thursday, his joining a quiet seizure for Gaza was “self -absorbed and insensitive”.

A worship was stabbed to death in the Heaton Park Synagogue, and the other was accidentally shot and killed by the police in his efforts to stop the attacker, a local man called Jihad al-Shamie.

Speaking on the program of BBC Radio 4 today, Rich said, “Anti -Jewish hatred and incentive levels have been allowed to grow in the last few years. I think anger should be directed at this point.”

He said that some sermons in the mosques have been “in graphics with provocative drawings ve and that social media companies could not fight online hatred in the Jewish people.

He said: “I think he will say many Jewish people”: “Okay, sympathy is great, but where is the action?”

“I think extraordinary tons of deaf, at least to say, many people who claim to care about human rights and care about freedoms, keep the police resources away from keeping the lives of the Jewish people away from keeping away from keeping them away from keeping both away from supporting them, this is not the same as support”.

Pre -planned guard against the ban on the Palestinian action was held at the Manchester Cathedral, while the Human Rights Group juries are organized by defense on Saturday in the center of London Trafalgar Square.

On Friday, Interior Minister Shabana Mahmood participated in the call for the cancellation of the protest, while the Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mark Rowley said, “probably would create more tension and some are deprived of sensitivity”.

However, Human Rights Campaign Sir Jonathon Porritt said to his program today: “Today, I have no doubt that everyone who participated in the defense of the silent seizure of our juries will show great respect and real grief for those affected by the absolute persecution in Heaton Park.

“But I do not mean that we should be asked to give up our right to stand up for those who are on the ruined by a real -time genocide in Gaza.”

On Saturday, the event is coming because the police promise to support the Jewish communities in Shabat Shabat.

The protest is expected to break a record for the number of people arrested in a single civilian disobedience, the organizers said that before the murders on Thursday, but 1,500 people who promised to participate are uncertain.

The most arrest record was made in 1,314 by the Metropolitan police during an anti -nuclear demonstration in 1961 in Trafalgar Square.
