Manchester synagogue attack victim Melvin Cravitz’s funeral held

BBCHundreds of people participated in the funeral service for one of the two men who were killed in the synagogue attack in Manchester on Thursday.
Family members gathered in Salford, Pendlebury to pay their respect to Melvin Cravitz, including the communities from the Heaton Park Hebrew community, including rabbi Daniel Walker.
The mourning filled the front of the cemetery, many of them stood outside the prayer hall in the rain, listened to the service and praise on the speakers.
Mr. Cravitz died after gathering Yom Kippur, the most sacred day of the Jewish calendar in the Heaton Park Synagogue, who squeezed and worshiped by an aggressive car.
‘Friend with everyone’
Rabbi Walker who helped Prevent the attacker jihad al-Shamie from entering the synagogueHe was among the ones at the funeral of Mr. Cravitz.
In a tribute on Friday, Mr. Cravitz’s family asked for privacy and said “he would do anything to help anyone.”
They said: “He was very kind, compassionate, and he always wanted to chat and know people.
“He was dedicated to his wife, his family and loved his food.”
A 35-year-old neighbor Anthony Khan, who said he knew Mr. Cravitz “throughout my life”, said, “He was friendly with everyone-He didn’t have a bad word with anyone.”
Another neighbor Andy Kordas said, “He always came and chatted and asked me what I was doing.
“There was always a smile on his face. It’s just terrible.”
‘Dear brother’
Bilal Ahmad said that he has been living in the region for 20 years and added that Mr. Cravitz was “a very good man” and “very calm”.
“He always said hello when he passed.”
Adrian Daulby, the other victim of the attack, was described by his family as a “hero” in a tribute.
They also said that the 53 -year -old child was “a beloved brother and a loving uncle.”
The other three people were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police said that two men and two women were detained after being arrested on Saturday on Saturday on suspicion of terrorism crimes.
A 18 -year -old woman and a 43 -year -old man were released without any other action.
