Helicopter crash shuts down Highway 50 in Sacramento area with injuries

The crew from California Highway Patrol responds to a helicopter accident that closes the eastern highway in East Sacramento on Monday night and leaves more than one person wounded.
According to a report from Fox 40 and CHP traffic records, the accident took place immediately after 19:00 and caused an emergency intervention.
Although the aircraft type has not been defined at the moment, the flight radari tail number is A4E489.

Mayor Kevin McCarty’s office spokesman confirmed that there were survivors to Fox News Digital, but did not publish details about how many or how many injuries. A spokesman said all of them were treated in local hospitals.

Fox News Digital reached the Sacramento fire brigade for more comments, but the agency did not respond immediately.
