18-year-old youth gets 30 years in jail for raping minor

The Pocso Court, the Director of Thiruvananthapuram, sentenced a 18 -year -old youth to 30 years of meticulous imprisonment for raping a 13 -year -old girl.

Pocso Court Judge Parliament Shibu, Perrayam, who was guilty of the crime, found Afzal from Kollam and sent him to jail.

The incident occurred in 2024. Afzal met the little girl through Instagram and replaced her house, forcibly entered when she had only a small and eight -year -old sister. He then attacked the age of two brutally two sisters and raped them. Even though the young girl screams in the alarm, it was not noticed.

The defendant was arrested after the incident was reported and the opposition of the prosecution and was rejected on bail. The hearing was completed within a year. The court accepted the claim that the prosecution did not deserve compassion for raping Afzal only a 13 -year -old girl.

The prosecution examined 28 witnesses and produced 71 documents and 16 exhibitions. Public prosecutor Katayikonam JK Ajithprasad and the lawyer bindu vc appeared for prosecution.
