Multi-Party MP Delegation Arrives In New York To Represent India At UNGA | India News

A delegation of Indian parliamentarians came to New York (local time) to represent India’s attitude in the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) session.
One Nation One Election, PP Chaudhary, the first party of the unofficial delegation, BJP deputy and chairman of the joint parliamentary committee. Consisting of 15 parliamentary members of different political parties, this group will be in New York between 8-14 October.

Towards the end of October, a second group of 15 deputies is planned to be planned. Delegations will represent a wide range of political parties that show India’s two -party participation commitment to global forums.
According to official versions, unofficial delegation allows deputies to participate in UN sessions, to participate in India’s permanent mission, and to present India’s democratic voice to international issues. The initiative reflects India’s growing global role and the importance it attaches to Parliamentary diplomacy.
Samajwadi Party deputy Rajeev Rai said that the “unofficial” delegation includes members of several political parties and provides a balanced representation of India’s parliamentary diversity.
The first group PP Chaudhary, Anil Baluni, Captain Brijesh Chowta, Dr. Nishikant Dubey, Ujjwal Deorao Nikam, S. Phangnon Konyak, Dr. Medha Vishram Kulkarni, Poonam Ben Maadam, Vamsi Krishna Gaddam, Vivek Tankha, Dr. SR, Mathukumilli, Kumari Selja, NK Premachandran and Rajeev Rai.
Second group D. Purandeswari, Vishnu Datt Sharma, Bhola Singh, Dilip Saikia, Saumitra Khan, Rekha Sharma, Sajda Ahmed, P. Wilson, PV Mithun Reddy, Indra Hang Subba, Joyanta Basumatary, Sandeep Kumar Path and Niranjan Bishi, Mano Patch and Niranjan Bishi, Manoj Gambling Path and
UNGA is the main decision -making and representative body of the United Nations, where all 193 member states have equal participation. He discusses global issues that deal with certain international challenges, passes decisions and supervises the organs of the participation.
India has a long history to send parliamentary delegations to Unga, an application that stands in 2004. In the past, senior leaders such as the first Advani and Atal Bihari VajPayee represented India in the forum.
