Keith Urban’s guitarist Maggie Baugh says she’s trying to ‘fight’ emotions as romance rumors continue to swirl.
The 26-year-old musician was caught in a media storm following the news of the divorce between Urban and his estranged wife, Nicole Kidman, which attracted attention after his rapprochement with the artist on stage.
On Thursday, Baugh shared a sneak peek of her new song, The Devil Win, which features lyrics that reference internal struggle and self-doubt.
In the song, which she shared on social media, she sang: ‘I don’t know what I believe / I don’t know how to heal my soul / Or I don’t know how to fight this feeling and that’s such a good place to go.’
He added: ‘No matter how close I get to the edge of the fire / No matter how tempting, I won’t let Satan win.’
The music teaser received an overwhelmingly positive response online, and fans couldn’t wait to hear more.
‘I love these lyrics!’ someone replied. ‘I can’t wait to hear the whole song!’
Another said: ‘Keep doing Maggie and drown out the noise! ‘We love and support you.’

58-year-old Hollywood actress Kidman filed for divorce from 57-year-old Urban on September 30.
Following the split news, past clips of her onstage antics with guitarist Baugh resurfaced, fueling romance rumors about them.
One video shows the musician singing “I was born to love you” in Las Vegas, while another video shows him changing the lyrics from “Baby I’ll be a fighter” to “Maggie, I’ll be your guitarist” during a show in Chicago.
Urban and Baugh first met last year when he invited her to perform with him during the CMT Music Awards.
He then asked him to join him as a co-guitarist.

He performs as co-guitarist alongside Urban.
He opened up about teaming up with the country star in an interview with Pittsburgh Music Magazine in April.
‘Working with Urban was like going to rock star school. “He’s a musical encyclopedia,” he said.
Baugh notably did not appear at Urban’s Pennsylvania concert last week.
TMZ claimed that guitarist Natalie Stovall was not a full-time member of the band as she had just stepped in as her replacement.
The rising country music star moved from Florida to Nashville, Tennessee, to pursue a career in music when she was just 18, but she was releasing music long before then.
“I released my first record when I was 13,” he told The Hamilton County Reporter last month.
‘I’m actually from south Florida and it’s festival season all year round in south Florida, so I’ve traveled there a lot.
Baugh found himself in the spotlight after a lyric change from Keith at one of his shows.

Kidman has been married to Urban for 19 years and the former couple have two young daughters.
‘I started touring at bigger venues, up and down the state and as far as Virginia. ‘Then when I was 18 I moved to Nashville and toured with a band.’
Baugh rose to fame with his TikTok series Finish the Lick, where he showcases his expertise on multiple instruments.
His talented videos have earned him over 40 million views.
Baugh released her first two singles, Think About Me and Drinking to the Broken Hearts, in 2021. He released these two tracks as four more singles in 2022.
He released his first album, Dear Me, last year.
