A new philanthropist has been crowned whose magnificent achievements eclipse all his historical rivals. His name? Do you need to ask? Of course, Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex.
Last week he was finally rewarded for the thoughtful, selfless and inspiring things he has done for humanity. Meghan voted out at gala dinner in New York Humanitarian of the Year For her work at the Archewell Foundation on mental health, online safety and the harm social media is doing to children.
Technically it was Humanitarians She got the Award of the Year because she had to share it with a guy named Harry. But we all know the magic belongs to him.
Lower-level humanitarian workers face torture, imprisonment and even death for their beliefs, but Meghan has no time for that. She achieves the same feat when gliding into a ballroom in a borrowed dress or sprinkling flowers on cakes in a friend’s kitchen.
If this doesn’t deserve a plaque, I don’t know what does.
I’m sure fast readers will join me in expressing humble gratitude for his “leadership and generosity” that made “a profound difference in the lives of so many,” according to Project Healthy minds.

Donald Trump’s efforts do not go unnoticed either. He is resentful that he did not receive the Nobel Peace Prize, even though he “brought peace” to Gaza and, at last count, ended eight more wars, some of which had not even been fought yet.
Trump undoubtedly hopes to be recognized next year, but he should not lose that hope. There can only be one winner. He already has a humanitarian award. Of course, it’s time for Meghan Markle to receive the Nobel Peace Prize, too.
Frankly, I’m surprised he hasn’t gotten it yet. It will be so, I’m sure of it. Unless the world comes to its senses and recognizes people by what they do, instead of the empty, fake, self-serving nonsense that comes out of their mouths. Unfortunately, we will need Gandhi’s patience as we wait for that day.
