When discussing Meghan’s trip and two of her outfits, she said: Cut: “Meghan and I met a few years ago and we’ve been texting ever since. She reached out and said she’d love to come on the show.”
He added: “There was no strategy, no grand orchestration.”
The designer later added: “I didn’t tell anyone it was coming because I wanted it to remain a surprise. Real surprises are rare in fashion, and this one was lovely.”
In a video posted on TikTok by @saintleon, Meghan was seen walking in to kiss Piccioli on the cheek to congratulate him on his Spring/Summer 2026 womenswear design; but instead, Meghan appeared to have bumped her nose into her sunglasses.
With the cameras on them, the designer appeared to laugh at the incident before holding Meghan’s hand for a photo together.
After thanking the designer, Meghan ended the encounter with a brief hug.
Speaking about Meghan, a spokesperson said she admired Piccioli’s “craftsmanship and modern elegance”.
The mother-of-two was also seen greeting Vogue’s global editorial director Anna Wintour and Australian film director Baz Luhrmann.
