Man ends life fearing arrest in POCSO case

The 65-year-old private firm employee accused in the POCSO case died at a private hospital in Kengeri on Monday after he allegedly consumed cleaning fluid for fear of arrest.
The deceased was identified as Ambarish, who was allegedly accused of sexually abusing a nine-year-old girl in his neighborhood on October 8.
The victim’s family, who learned about the incident, filed a complaint with the police. Learning about this, the defendant consumed the liquid and was found unconscious on Sunday.
The defendant’s relatives took him to the hospital, where he died in the early hours.
Kengeri police have detected a case of natural death and are continuing the investigation.
