Keir Starmer is a despicable opportunist and just proved it to the whole world | Politics | News

Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson has been rightly and harshly rebuked after claiming Britain was a leading behind-the-scenes player in peace deal negotiations between Israel and Hamas. “We played a significant role behind the scenes in shaping this,” he told Sky News on Sunday. US ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee painted a slightly different picture, accusing the Labor minister of being “delusional” in his remarks. Mr Huckabee made it quite clear that Britain had played little role, writing: “I assure you he is delusional. He can thank Donald Trump at any time just to fix this situation.”
Independent journalist Angela Epstein blasted the Prime Minister and his grossly sickening habit of virtue signaling while being interviewed by Dawn Neesom on GB News. Ms. Epstein “makes my skin tingle,” Starmer declared. Mine too. Ms. Epstein rightly highlighted some salient and nauseating aspects of the Two-Phase approach to international diplomacy. First, while emphasizing the cessation of hostilities and unlimited aid to Gaza as the primary task, adding the release of hostages and disarmament of Hamas as almost a secondary consideration is a betrayal of basic humanity.
Second, Two-Tier Israel generally condemned Israel for its war against Hamas in Gaza and sought to isolate and neutralize Bibi Netanyahu on his ability to destroy the terrorist cancer that these monsters represent.
British arms sales to Israel were restricted and, as if that wasn’t enough, the Two Tiers rewarded Hamas with the official recognition of Palestine as a state.
Some of the hostages just released were repatriated from the West Bank, not Gaza, which makes the Palestinian Authority complicit in this abomination, and has it been rewarded? Ugly!
Two-Tier’s political agenda was aimed solely at appeasing the pro-Palestinian backbenchers in parliament, having nothing to do with the development of any solution or lasting peace in the Middle East.
Does anyone in their right mind seriously believe that the Israelis will embrace the two-state solution and agree to peaceful coexistence side by side with a Palestinian state, all sins forgiven without a word? If you really believe this, it’s obvious that you don’t understand the Israelis very well!
It’s a good thing that the current focus is only on the return of hostages, that is, survivors and the remains of the dead, but Two-Tier has no right to claim any credit for this.
His actions and actions are clearly indicative of the exact opposite. Donald Trump demands more praise for some important reasons.
Let us also not lose sight of the fact that the return of hostages, dead or alive, is only the first of many steps on what will undoubtedly be a very bumpy road ahead.
The next phase of the plan will be to disarm Hamas, which (by the way) they’ve already promised they’ll never do, so we have to ask how this will work in practice.
Apparently unable to resist the temptation of an event on the world stage, the UK’s hapless Prime Minister flew to Egypt, no doubt at great expense to British taxpayers. Poor Two-Layer, one almost felt sorry for him.
He looked like an unhappy, constipated worm who couldn’t find his mother. But this all came after Trump took part in a massive joke-fest at the Knesset in Jerusalem earlier in the day.
There was a lot of theatrics there, but what really mattered was the words and the visuals that accompanied it, and Trump and Bibi did a generous job of that.
What was notable about this meeting was that Trump asked the leader of the Israeli opposition if he wanted to speak before him.
The Knesset has seen many heated battles over the years, even political wars of attrition, but such was the overwhelming joy at the return of ALL living hostages that the mood was almost unanimously celebratory.
There were two far-left idiots who were unceremoniously expelled from the parliament for making remarks. But the mood in Israel seemed much more enthusiastic indeed.
Hamas had been defeated, the IDF-led military operation was fully justified in its core objectives, hostages were returning home dead or alive, and indeed less than 50 percent of the captives were still breathing.
In his speech to the Knesset, without naming names, Bibi spoke openly about those who turned their backs and walked away, trying to emasculate Israel’s military capacity while tacitly rewarding terrorist animals for their brutality in recognizing the Palestinian state.
The Two Tier government and parliamentary group who claim that the British government had anything to do with this peace plan, behind the scenes or otherwise, are vile opportunistic hypocrites.
The view of yesterday’s events tells the real story. Unfortunately, the sharp increase in antisemitism and opposition to Israel’s existence has increased as a direct result of the British government’s policy.
Two-Tier’s presence in Egypt was a humiliating slap in the face to the state of Israel and every decent human being; But such is our world of shameless politicians.
We have a long and difficult road ahead, and Israel’s involvement as an equal partner is vital to the success of this process. We must see the return of the remains of all the dead hostages and the disarmament and expulsion of Hamas from Gaza, which is absolutely indisputable.
Like Bibi, Donald is aware of the truth. I hope the likes of Macron and Two-Tier wake up and raise a couple as a small penance for their terrible transgressions!
