How to convert B-khata to A-khata: GBA explains

Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) has published explainers on how to convert B-khata to A-khata online. As many as 15 lakh property owners in Bengaluru are expected to benefit from the Karnataka government’s 100-day campaign from November 1.
According to the new system, properties up to 2,000 m2 in size will be eligible for transformation. Larger property owners will need to submit CAD drawings and other documents. The 100-day campaign will start on November 1 and applicants can register online by paying an application fee of ₹500. After this, officials from civic bodies will visit homes to provide doorstep services. Property owners will have to pay 5 percent of the guideline value to the government as a fee.

Step by step process
Visit the official B-khata to A-khata portal (https://bbmp.karnataka.gov.in/BtoAKhata).
Enter mobile number, captcha and generate OTP.
Log in and the screen will show ‘B-khata to A-khata conversion and new A-khata for sites via single plot approval’.
Create a new request and enter the khata ID that needs to be converted. Click Fetch.
Aadhaar authentication of the site owner is required. Verify e-KYC.
Fill in the details regarding the parcel survey number.
Enter the agricultural to non-agricultural DC conversion sequence.
Select a property type and upload a sketch of the building.
Upload any other documents and details regarding the route, roads or nearest roads.
If there is more than one owner, perform e-KYC ad phone verification of other owners. Record plot details.
Submit the application and make the payment.
Download the confirmation receipt from the control panel.
