Both men, believed to be in their thirties, are suspected of belonging to a four-man gang behind the daring robbery in which jewelery worth around $102 million was stolen in just seven minutes.

Authorities said the perpetrators used a stolen transport truck equipped with an extendable ladder to access the first-floor gallery. Using a basket hoist, they climbed onto the façade overlooking the Seine, forced open a window, broke two shop windows and sped off on motorbikes before security could intervene.

During their quick escape, the thieves dropped a diamond- and emerald-encrusted crown but managed to seize eight more pieces, including an emerald-and-diamond necklace once gifted to Empress Marie-Louise by Napoleon Bonaparte.

Even though the alarms were triggered and security guards arrived at the scene, the robbers had already disappeared.

The heist captivated audiences worldwide for its extraordinary precision and cinematic flair, with many observers comparing it to the plot of a Hollywood heist movie.
