Meghan Markle shares rare Archie and Lilibet insight – ‘Strong personality’ | Royal | News

Meghan Markle shared a relatable ritual she has when it comes to parenting her two children. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex became parents to Prince Archie in May 2019.

A year after leaving the senior royal staff and moving to the US, the couple welcomed Princess Lilibet in June 2021. During a chat with her close friend Courtney Adamo at Godmothers Bookstore earlier this week, the 44-year-old actress discussed Courtney’s new book titled ”.The Family Home: Inspiring Ideas for a Home Filled with Joy‘ and shared how it helped her own parenting.2

Speaking of tips in the book, Meghan described how she used the “rose and thorns” ritual with Archie and Lilibet, a method that reveals more than just a “yes or no” answer to a question.

Speaking of Lilibet, Meghan said: “Our daughter, she is four and she has such a strong personality and she is incredible.

“And now he’s like, ‘What are your roses and your thorns?’ It is at the moment I say. And he says: ‘My day was amazing.'”

Meghan, who also talked about her parenting, revealed that she and Harry have a very special ritual they follow when Archie or Lilibet get sick.

Meghan said the family had a “healing blanket” they could use to keep their children comfortable during illness, a gift from Victoria Jackson, a former co-owner of QVC cosmetics company and bookstore.

Archie and Lilibet last visited the UK in 2022 and speculation is mounting as to when they will next visit their father’s hometown.

Prince Harry’s Invictus Foundation is organizing the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham, which means Archie and Lilibet could travel to England with him.

The competition will be held from July 10 to July 17. While Harry is likely to attend, it is unknown whether Meghan and her children will join him.
