King Charles set to refuse Prince Andrew’s latest Royal Lodge request | Royal | News

He continued: “It’s two houses and they live more or less close to each other. It’s a matter of convenience for them but it’s certainly not something that the public, the parliament and the Royal Family will accept.”
“Their activities, the historic state visit to the Vatican where the King prayed with Pope Leo and the ceremonial welcome of President Zelensky, are all beginning to be overshadowed.”
It is believed that Andrew may receive some compensation if he packs up and leaves Royal Lodge, as he has leased the property until 2078.
Despite only paying peppercorn rent, Andrew made an initial payment of £1 million for the 30-bed mansion’s residence and contributed £7.5 million to the renovations.
