P.LouiseThe highly anticipated Christmas event in Greater Manchester, led by viral beauty company P.Louise, has been cancelled.
The Pinkmas event will run from December 1st to January 4th and will include attractions such as a pink ice rink and a pantomime show.
The first phase of tickets sold out and the event was moved from the Trafford Center to Barton Dock Road in TraffordCity.
P.Louise founder Paige Louise Williams said she was “devastated” to have to cancel the event “even though it was almost fully built…due to issues with the licensing process.”
“I cannot risk opening the event without a definitive solution, the last thing I want is to disappoint so many of you,” Ms. Williams wrote in a statement.
“Please believe me when I say that this decision was not taken lightly.
“I have personally invested a lot in this structure, and the structure already exists. But at this point the only responsible option is to issue full refunds to everyone within the next five days and work to provide everyone with the perfect solution.”
Thanking customers for their “incredible” support and understanding, he said each of them would be contacted personally, adding: “I was hoping to speak to each of you before this news reached the press.
