Luke Littler misses Players Championship 33 because of traffic

World champion Luke Littler has been denied entry to Wednesday’s Players Championship 33 event in Wigan after arriving late due to traffic.

The 18-year-old was due to play in the penultimate Players Championship event of 2025 at Robin Park Leisure Centre.

However, he had to withdraw after missing the 11:00 am registration deadline for players.

She shared on Instagram: “We’re going back to bed.”

Littler was replaced by fellow Brit Charlie Manby, who was ranked 174th in the PDC’s order of merit.

Littler will be able to play in the 34th event, the last event of the year, at the same venue on Thursday.
