Race 4 – 14:00 FOUR PILLARS MIDDLE ROAD (1500 METERS)
10. Twelve He has the right form around him to be confident enough that he could be somewhere at the finish. She was unlucky not to get close to her stablemate Meridiana, two laps down, and had the misfortune to run into Modella three weeks ago. No matter where he is drawn, he will overcome all conditions and can be a great threat if he can be rescued to dig them out. 1st Meridian He looks above average and has been saving for this race since winning the first race five weeks ago. It was a good performance to wrap them around the fresh 1300m track, he attempted a pass and it wouldn’t surprise anyone if he stormed over them. 4. Alabama State Modella’s second place was a bit of a disappointment, but her second place to Meridiana had plenty of merit after taking the lead early in the straight and landing a sit-down shot. He is 1kg better off against his draws for not doing any work. He finished fourth by a wide margin in this race last year and drew this time too. 2. Apollo Mission He had a big job to do in his return to form to chase down a ferocious second-place leader in Kembla. If he can support this and lift it again, it’s a good prospect all round.

Race 5 – 14:40 TOYOTA FORKLIFTS HANDICAP (2000 METERS)
12. United Kingdom He gave a glimpse of what he is capable of with a big come-from-behind win at Rosehill a month ago and looks set to have another winnable race. Getting back on your feet should be the key, and if it brings the same purpose to it it should be hard to prevent. 2. Sun God He surprised a few people when he rode Cristal Clear to win at Warwick Farm after a four-month absence. I returned to the trials nine days later and the claim was a plus; There was only an increase of 6 kg for the decrease in grade. It has to reproduce, and if it can, it’s a big threat. 6. Black Run Continuing into Newcastle he appeared to be progressing safely but struggled strongly to take second. He’s fitter and will probably progress here. 9. Harlow Mist He showed a return to form for the Midway company when he finished second at Randwick on Epsom Day. He is capable of doing his best and has the equipment to run well.

Race 6 – 15:20 BISLEY WORKWEAR SPRINT (1100 METERS)
8. Istolea Merc Winning first place at Warwick Farm while favorite couldn’t have been more impressive. He managed to ride the pace there and raced right to the finish. He finished second last time and needs to be in better shape for the run. Moving up a rung in class, he finds James McDonald and what should be a very competitive race. 3. Mongol Ruler He was unlucky not to give Roselyn’s Star a scare when moving to second at Rosehill three weeks ago. It doesn’t have the same setup this time with a wider door, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if it won such a race. 1. The Brave One He’s setting a handy record and one wonders if the 1100m will be a bit sharp for him. He finished second in his last two preparations on heavy ground before winning in the 1300m and 1400m. An attempt, well drawn but heavy. It may stand out but you can watch it next time. 10. Zaragoza Not the worst first match after the end of the conflict. He raced fairly consistently last time and was placed at Warwick Farm before winning at Kembla in July. One to throw at the trios.

Race 7 – 16:00 RUSSELL WORD COURSE (1300 METERS)
2.Jimmystar Of course it was his run at TAB Everest other than the winner of the race and he had to stick with it as he had now drawn a barrier to work on. He had to burn the candle at both ends to be put in a position to give Ka Ying Rising a chance to race, and for him to go on and run third was a huge deal. We don’t know what the race has taken from him, but the soft draw and the 1300m give him every chance. 12. Lady Shenandoah He had bad luck on Everest, clipping his heels around 600 meters and diving sharply, which couldn’t have helped his cause. So you’d have to say that being beaten 2-1/4 lengths is more than respectable. He needs some luck in the draw but if he wins he will be there. 1.Briasa He has never climbed Everest since the drawing, but this time he has a setup that better suits his style. He just needs to get back to the form in which he bested Jimmysstar in the premiere to get a place in the final. 5. Rothfire He did a great job to win the Sydney Stakes after clearing the outside barrier and is good enough to be around the mark with even chances here. 3. War Machine I was disappointed in Everest, but I could have done better. 4. Private Detective especially considering his excellent form of late.

Race 8 – 16:45 GOLDEN EAGLE (1500 METERS)
3. Defender Is he tailor-made to give this race a big shake-up after a confidence-boosting win in the Silver Eagle, where despite a wide lead he was more than good and won at will. We can use good traction to stay right behind the pace. It’s easy to forget that he won the Guineas by beating Broadsiding and had bad luck in the Doncaster Mile, so he was good enough. 14. Autumn Glow It will be a stumbling block and it is difficult to make holes. Epsom’s win was easy as he quickly leveled the outside wicket and was never really threatened when he came forward. It’s a bigger test for him but he’s picking up a solid enough pace up front to allow him to calm down and get loose. 1. Evaporate It should not be underestimated and Toorak has been a useful enough form reference for this race in the past. They were narrowly denied by Transatlantic, who came to Randwick last week and won. He triumphed at this track at Carbine Club earlier this year. 12. Panja Tower They’ve won four out of six games in Japan, including Group 1, and they don’t have many of those, so when you win one you’re pretty smart. He had a good win over 1200 meters in Sapporo in his last start in August. If he can stand up, he can roll them over. 5. Willydoit And 13. Eleven of Seagulls probably next best.

Race 9 – 17:20 ROSEHILL GOLD CUP (2000 METERS)
4. Maison Louis He looks nicely placed in this race in third place after running screaming in third behind Lindermann and Attrition in the Hill Stakes. We all know how good this form is. He found himself a bit behind there too, so getting to third place was huge for him. He should now be near the top, draw a gate he can work with, and be at the finish. 7. Matusalem The probability of reaching 2000 meters is now very high. A great debut on the Tram in the 1400m followed by a very fast running race where nothing really ran. The 10th, following Perfumist, is better than it sounds. He’ll hold the line well here and there’s good hope going either way. 6. Wootton Varnish He has been a bit of a challenge to catch since arriving in Australia but got on the board with a win as favorite in the Coongy at Caulfield. We will have no reason not to reproduce this form here. 1.Fawkner Park It is one of the things to be careful about. He won this race last year and is with Ciaron Maher. He was disappointing in his two running backs before the switch to stable, but if the change of scenery on Bong Bong works, he’s good enough to pull it off.

Race 10 – 17:55 TAB HANDICAP (1300 METERS)
7. Gold Straand He looks to be on the rise, breaking the record when scoring at Warwick Farm a few weeks ago. He enjoyed a nice run through the soft gate there and should be able to roll forward and find a spot, although he has some work to do in a tougher side street. If he does this, he will be the one who is late. 6.Bartolf He bounced back in this prep with two wins from his last three, including a strong last-place win in the seven-horse race at the farm. He needs a pretty good base and if he gets it, he’ll be in the mix. 8. Multilingual He’s racing in big contact with no chance in the barrier draw and we might all look a bit silly letting him go as he’s drawn ideally. But now he has to do it at 1300 meters. It should be among the main hopes. 1. Money Team He hasn’t raced since a smart second win at Warwick Farm about six weeks ago and is putting together a serviceable record. He’s 1kg lighter, he’ll need some luck but it’s hard to fault the way he’s going.
