Footage from the scene shows a blood-soaked man wearing a V-neck polo shirt. Police cordoned off the car park and a block of blocks in front of the Coles supermarket.
An eyewitness told Channel Nine he heard a crunching noise and turned to see a black BMW with no license plate speeding across the car park.
“That’s when I heard a man holding his stomach with his hands and saying, ‘Damn, call an ambulance.'”
Paramedics confirmed they took the man to hospital but did not say which hospital.
