Britons can enjoy warmer weather in November after a period of more unstable conditions.
UK weather maps show November when temperatures could rise despite the arrival of winter. Netweather’s weather forecast shows the mercury will rise as high as 17C in one part of England on Wednesday, November 5.
Maps show London reaching 17C, while much of the south-east had temperatures between 15C and 16C.
Maps show average temperatures in the Midlands, Cornwall and Devon will be between 13 and 14 degrees.
Temperatures further north are also hovering between 13C and 15C, with cooler conditions seen in Scotland.
Maps show the south of Scotland will see a high of 13 degrees, while the Scottish Highlands will see a low of 7 degrees in some areas.
Temperatures in Northern Ireland are expected to be between 10C and 11C, while slightly warmer weather is expected in Wales at 13C-14C.
The Met Office’s forecast for next week calls for unstable weather and rain on Monday and Tuesday. This will be followed by strong winds from the west.
Looking forward to the period 5 November to 14 November, the Met Office predicts that the volatile and at times unstable weather is likely to continue.
The forecast adds: “This means more showers or longer periods of rain at times. All parts may experience heavy rain, but western areas are likely to be the wettest. Strong winds are likely at times, with thunderstorms possible in the west.”
“Likewise, there must be some drier or clearer interstitials that are more common further east.
“A transition to a less unstable pattern is possible later in the period, making drier interludes more common. Above-average temperatures are likely, particularly with reduced nighttime frost and fog events compared to normal initially.”
