Asia-Pacific markets trade mixed ahead of PMI data from China

Asia-Pacific markets opened mixed on Monday after Wall Street’s three major US indexes saw gains in the US on Friday.
Investors in Asia will be watching manufacturing activity figures in China today as RatingDog releases its purchasing managers’ index for October.
Reuters economists expect the data to come in at 50.9, slightly below September’s 51.2.
official PMI figures Data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed that China’s manufacturing activity fell to a six-month low of 49.0 in October.

Tech-focused day in the US on Friday Nasdaq Composite The S&P 500 index increased by 0.26% to 6,840.20 points, while it increased by 0.61% to 23,724.96 points. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed marginally higher at 47,562.87.
