Million-dollar reward to solve mum’s cold-case murder

A $1 million reward is being offered to help solve a two-decade-old maternal murder as authorities desperately search for answers to solve the cold case.
Theresa Binge, 43, was reported missing a few days after she disappeared from O’Shea’s Royal Hotel in Goondiwindi, Queensland, on July 18, 2003.
His body was found weeks later in a stormwater culvert under a rural road just across the border in NSW.
Police in the northern NSW town of Moree launched a murder investigation following the discovery, but no charges were laid in relation to Ms Binge’s death.
The detectives, along with his daughter, Daylene Barlow, will travel to Moree on Tuesday to announce the $1 million reward.
The reward is based on a $100,000 offer announced in 2007 for information leading to an arrest and conviction for the crime.
A judicial inquest in the same year revealed that Mrs. Binge had been murdered, possibly by an unknown person.
His family has never stopped searching for the truth and thousands of people follow a social media page with updates on the investigation.
The page continues to call for action with the words “it’s time for justice” in his bio.
Ms. Binge was last seen wearing a black-and-yellow football jersey with horizontal stripes, silver tracksuit bottoms and white running shoes.
Anyone with information should contact police through Crime Stoppers.
