A British man has been arrested for allegedly playing a key role in a Hamas-linked terror cell aiming to hit Jewish targets in Germany. The 39-year-old suspect, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is in danger of being extradited to Germany.
He was arrested on Monday, November 3, and appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court the same day and was remanded into custody. The Briton is wanted by the Federal Police in Germany as part of a major counter-terrorism operation that last month led to the arrest of three men suspected of plotting violence against German Jewish targets on behalf of Hamas.
