Probe launched after ‘multiple shots’ fired into home in Macquarie Fields, Sydney

A house in south-west Sydney was sprayed with bullets overnight.

Police were called to the home in Petunia Place, Macquarie Fields, at around 10.50pm on Wednesday following reports of shots fired.

Officers were told “unknown persons” fired “multiple shots” into the house before fleeing the scene.

Police announced that no one was injured in the conflict.

The crime scene has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
