Police seek public’s help finding suspect in H-E-B robbery

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department is asking for the public’s help finding a suspect wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred in October at the north Austin HEB.

The robbery occurred shortly before 4 p.m. on Oct. 23 after the alleged suspect “attempted to steal merchandise” from the convenience store located northbound at 12407 N. Mopac Service Road, according to a news release from APD.

“A victim confronted the suspect and the suspect then assaulted the victim,” police said.

APD described the suspect as follows:

According to police, the suspect was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, blue shorts and light green running shoes.

Police also provided a suspicious vehicle and believe it to be a “black colored” Toyota.
