Revanth Says KTR Campaign is Like Item Song Dance

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy likened BRS working president KT Rama Rao’s campaign to a dance to a song in movies. Reacting to Rama Rao waving the BRS kanduva over DJ music during the campaign, Revanth Reddy said that it reminded everyone of Sreeleela’s song from the movie ‘Pushpa2’.

Explaining his proactive approach towards the welfare of cinema employees, who remain in large numbers in the Jubilee Hills segment, Revanth Reddy said he has set a clear condition for the filmmakers that he will accept the increase in ticket prices if 20 per cent of the increased revenue is spent on the welfare of cinema employees. He said that while the Congress government was working for the welfare of cinema workers, Rama Rao would prefer to spend time chatting with film stars in guest houses. He also lashed out at the BRS regime for spreading drug culture in the city.
