VVIT-U Balotsav event concludes in Guntur

Telugu children’s festival VVIT-U Balotsav 2025 concluded at Vasireddy Venkatadri International University of Technology (VVIT-U) on Sunday night. The three-day festival celebrated the spirit of Telugu language, culture and creativity and brought together hundreds of young participants from across India who competed in 61 divisions across 20 categories and 32 venues.
The event was inaugurated by Avanigadda MLA Mandali Buddha Prasad in the presence of APSCHE President K. Madhumurthy, APNRT President Ravi Kumar Vemuri and Chancellor Vasireddy Vidya Sagar. The dignitaries lauded VVIT-U’s vision of promoting Telugu heritage through a creative platform for children.
For three days, students showcased their talents in music, dance, literature and art, making the campus a center of youth energy and tradition. At the graduation ceremony graced by poet Papineni Siva Sankar, the winners were felicitated with handcrafted Kondapalli wooden bullock carts, copies of Bhagavad Gita and certificates.
Chancellor Vasireddy Vidya Sagar urged the students to maintain their innocence and curiosity. The festival ended with colorful shows of children.
