Uttar Pradesh on high alert, raid conducted in Lucknow

Uttar Pradesh remains on high alert with intense checks across the state on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, due to the explosion near the Red Fort in Delhi. Sensitive cities in the state like Lucknow, Ayodhya, Agra and Saharanpur witnessed strengthened security arrangements.

“In view of the blast incident in Delhi, to ensure strong security and vigilance in the state, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ji, after receiving information about the incident from Director General of Police Rajiv Krishna, has directed that the entire police force in Uttar Pradesh be kept on high alert and intensive control and security arrangements be ensured,” an official statement said. Teams of Anti-Terrorism Squad and Jammu and Kashmir Police located Dr. in Lucknow’s Madiyaon area. He raided the house of Parvez Ansari. Dr. Dr Ansari, who was arrested on Monday in connection with the Faridabad terror module. He is believed to be linked to Shaheen Shahid. Law enforcement is believed to have seized a number of important documents and electronic devices from the home. During the search, Dr. Parvez was not at home but his family members were questioned and efforts are on to trace his whereabouts.
Senior police officers, including Senior Police Inspectors and Head Constables in their respective districts, inspected sensitive/crowded areas, markets, public events and religious places. Security arrangements in important institutions, religious places, crowded places and other sensitive points are being reviewed and increased.
Vehicle control and intense surveillance were kept alert with QRT (quick response teams), bomb disposal teams and dog teams in metro/bus terminals, train stations, shopping malls, movie theaters and other public transportation/crowded centers.
“We maintain foot patrolling and real-time analysis of CCTV feeds with instant reporting of suspicious persons/activities by activating local intelligence and citizen information networks,” said a senior police official in Lucknow.
