WNBA star Caitlin Clark Once again, he put down the basketball and picked up a golf club. The Indiana Fever guard returned to Pelican Golf Club to participate in the LPGA’s Annika pro-am.

Clark hit the road Wednesday morning with Dan Towriss and Jordan Jackson. She was paired with two-time LPGA major winner Nelly Korda for the first few holes. Korda described his enjoyable experience with Clark on the Florida golf course.

“The first tee shot was almost out of the book. But it’s a lot of fun. It’s great to see how many people it brings together in another sport,” the world’s second-ranked female golfer told reporters.

Clark showed off his swing by sinking a putt about 35 feet, The Palm Beach Post reported. The shot drew applause from the crowd and fist-pumping support from the two-time WNBA All-Star.

Sophie Cunningham and Lexie Hull cheered after watching their Indiana Fever teammates hit. Cunningham and Hull were each wearing utility vests that read “Indiana.”

“And some days your drive is really good. Sometimes your drive is really bad. You never believe everything is going at once, but you just kind of figure it out and have fun. I don’t take golf seriously. I have fun with it.”

Clark’s time on the basketball court in 2025 was limited due to a series of injuries.

In September, Clark announced he was eliminated for the remainder of the season. He had already been out since July 15, when he suffered a groin injury in a game against the Connecticut Sun.

However, Clark announced that she has fully recovered and plans to compete in the 2026 FIBA ​​Women’s Basketball World Cup.
