Fiji’s leader is open to raising the relationship between the Pacific nation with Australia to a partnership at the level of treaty and wants its citizens to fill the ranks of the neighbor’s defense forces.

In his opening speech at the National Press Club, Fiji Prime Minister Citiveni Rabuka spoke dazzling from the binary bonds between Suva and Canberra in a worsening world.

“Unfortunately, for now, I object to the view of the region, and he said, Fiji’s independence in 1970, he said.

“Perhaps in our relationship between Fiji-Australia, we have come to a point where a renewed and raised vuvale partnership should take more steps to an agreement agreement.”

Canberra is making a defense agreement that will lead to the entitlement to the Australian Defense Forces with Papua Yeni Guinea.
