South Korean actress and K-pop star Nana fights off home intruder

According to local media reports, South Korean actor and K-pop singer Nana managed to fight off an intruder who entered the house with his mother.

A man in his 30s reportedly entered the star’s property in Guri with a gun and threatened two women.

However, the 34-year-old singer’s agency told South Korean media that Nana, whose real name is Im Jin-ah, and her mother managed to subdue the intruder until the police arrived.

The actor’s mother lost consciousness during the disturbance, and both she and Nana required medical attention, Yonha news agency reported.

A local detective told AFP news agency that the intruder tried to steal valuables and was arrested on charges of aggravated robbery.

It was reported that the suspect both threatened the women and demanded money after entering the house.

According to local media reports, Nana and her mother called the police after restraining the man, who was taken to hospital for treatment.

Nana rose to fame in 2009 as part of the girl group After School, a popular K-pop group.

The group is no longer active but has since gained popularity as an actor over the last decade.

He has appeared in several TV series, including crime dramas Kill It and Justice, which both first aired in 2019.

Nana released her first solo album in September.
