Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Chief Lalu Prasad’s daughter has once again attacked Tejashwi Yadav’s close aides after quitting politics and disowning her own family.
A day after the debacle in the Assembly elections, Ms Acharya had blamed Mr Yadav’s close aides Sanjay Yadav and Rameez Nemat Khan for the humiliating defeat on Saturday, November 15, 2025.
In her emotional message published on her social media account ‘X’ on Sunday, November 16, 2025, Ms. Acharya said, “Yesterday, a daughter, a sister, a married woman, a mother was humiliated, dirty abuse was rained down on her, she was shot with her slippers lifted. I did not compromise my self-respect, I did not give up the truth, and that’s why I had to endure this insult.”
He also said, “Yesterday, a girl had to leave her crying parents and sisters; they took me away from my motherland and left me an orphan. None of you should follow in my footsteps, no family should have a sister like Rohini.”
Even on November 15, Ms. Acharya had written a post on social media, blaming the duo for the debacle.
At the Patna airport, when the media asked her about her cryptic post on Saturday night, November 15, 2025, Ms. Acharya had said that she had no family and it would be better for the media to ask Sanjay Yadav, Rameez and Tejashwi Yadav about it.

He blamed them, claiming that they were the ones who kicked him out of the family and that they did not want to take responsibility for the failure.
To discuss the party’s poor performance, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav held a review meeting with all RJD candidates and elected MLAs on Monday, November 17.
According to the party official, the meeting will be chaired by Mr. Tejashwi Yadav and all important points related to the election results and organizational activities will be reviewed comprehensively.
Reacting to the episode, JD(U) MLC and party spokesperson Neeraj Kumar mocked Lalu Prasad and asked him to intervene as his daughters expressed their grief.
“Looks like Lalu Prasad ji has been taken hostage in his own house. Why is he not reacting to this serious issue. Lalu ji should also report this to Patna District Magistrate as he leveled the allegation against some people in his social media post.” Gambling said.
Bihar BJP spokesperson Prabhakhar Mishra termed the incident as unfortunate, claiming that the girl who donated her kidney to her father had to leave the family and politics.
“If such things are happening to Lalu ji’s daughter, then we all can understand what the value of party workers in RJD would be. Why is there so much respect for outsiders in the party? This could be the result of the humiliating defeat in the assembly elections,” Mr. Mishra said.
Ms. Acharya, who is settled in Singapore, was in Bihar during the Assembly elections and returned on November 15. He attracted attention when he donated a kidney to his sick father, who suffered from numerous diseases. She is married to Rao Samresh Singh and has two sons and a daughter.
On December 5, 2022, Mr. Prasad underwent a kidney transplant when his second daughter, Mrs. Acharya, donated her kidney.
