Trump to order U.S. agencies to release documents on aliens, extraterrestrial life

US President Donald Trump said Thursday that he will direct the Department of Defense and other agencies to prepare public dossiers on alien and extraterrestrial life.

Trump said the files that will be identified and released will also cover unidentified weather phenomena and unidentified flying objects, as well as “any other information related to these extremely complex but extremely interesting and important issues.”

Inside A Real Social postThe US president said his move was based on “tremendous interest” in the issue, without providing further details. This comes after he accused former US President Barack Obama of leaking “secret information” about aliens.

Speaking to reporters on Air Force One, Trump said, “I don’t know if these are real or not, but I can say that he gave classified information.”

Obama said on Saturday: on a podcast He said the aliens were real, “but I haven’t seen them, and they… are not being held at Area 51.”

“Unless there is a conspiracy this big and they are hiding it from the president of the United States, there is no underground facility,” Obama added.

Area 51 refers to a secret US Air Force facility in Nevada and has been the center of conspiracy theories that say the US government is conducting research and using the facility to store extraterrestrial materials and technology.
