DoorDash Driver Livie Rose Henderson Arrested for Posting Video of Customer With Pants Down
The debate over sexual assault allegations against the company DoorDash took a dramatic turn after the man at the forefront of the viral outrage was arrested on a felony charge.
According to the authorities, while the woman’s story did not match the evidence, what started as a call for justice turned into a criminal case. Internet users are still having trouble understanding the twist in the story.
The controversy started when a TikTok user named ‘irlmonsterhighdoll’ posted a clip stating that she was sexually assaulted while delivering food on the TikTok platform on October 12. He then claimed that his account was disabled by the DoorDash company in just two days for no reason, as if the company was punishing him.
He also reported the incident to the police, but felt that his complaint was not taken seriously. The emotional clip quickly went viral as people rallied around her and demanded accountability from the DoorDash company. As the clip went viral, there were calls for an investigation to verify whether the incident was real or not.
According to police records, the suspect, 23-year-old Livie Rose Henderson, visited a customer’s address to deliver groceries via contactless delivery on Oct. 12. However, he opened the closed entrance door and entered.
He found the client sleeping on the couch with his pants down. She recorded the incident but later posted blurred footage of the act on TikTok, claiming she had been sexually assaulted.
However, the footage from the Ring camera revealed that the customer did not invite him in. Detectives later determined that she did not intentionally expose herself and there was no evidence of sexual assault.
On November 10, he was arrested on charges related to two class E felonies, unlawful surveillance and unlawful dissemination of surveillance images.
Each of the charges carries a possible prison sentence of up to four years. Police said he illegally entered the residence where he was recording a private person in a sensitive situation. The company confirmed that the woman’s account was disabled for violating security protocols. The company also banned the customer as the police stated that the customer would not be blamed.
