Boyd remained at Bellevue Hospital, according to multiple reports. Police released two photos of the suspect they were looking for for discharging a firearm.
Boyd’s Jets teammates, meanwhile, kept the cornerback and special teams players top of mind at practice.
Defensive end Harrison Phillips said some teammates talked to Boyd.
“I know a lot of prayers were answered,” Phillips said. “It’s a blessing to know that he’s in stable condition and that he’s surrounded by his family and that he has a lot of support around him. Certainly from where the news was first reported, there’s a lot of panic and a lot of emotion. I don’t want to make light of it, but I think it makes us a little more grateful to know that he’s stable now.”

The name of the person the police were looking for was not stated.
Police said, “The wanted person was stated to be male and of medium complexion.” “He was last seen wearing a black hat, black sweater, black trousers, multi-coloured sneakers and carrying a black school bag.”
