Trump Claims Tariffs Helped Halt Global Conflicts

United States President Donald Trump once again argued on Sunday that tariff policies shape international diplomacy, arguing that the financial pressure resulting from trade taxes directly affects global peace efforts. In a recent post on Truth Social, Trump wrote that the United States has “received TRILLIONS of Dollars of Tariff and Investment Dollars from foreign lands due to Tariffs.”

In his post, Trump wrote: “We are receiving TRILLIONS of Dollars of Tariff and Investment Dollars from foreign lands due to Tariffs. I have directly stopped 5 out of eight WARs due to the threat of Tariffs if they don’t stop the fight or better yet, they start.”
