UK weather maps show 742-mile rain and snow bomb clashing into Britain in -6C deluge | Weather | News

According to weather maps, wintry conditions will begin to affect the country at around 6am on Wednesday, with much of the UK set to be drenched in rain. According to weather maps, areas around Blackpool, Newcastle, Plymouth and Dundee will witness rainy weather, while parts of Scotland, including Inverness, will be covered in snow.
According to weather maps, heavy showers will be expected around Manchester, Stoke on Trent, The Cotswolds, Birmingham, Bristol and Plymouth until 12pm.
Unsettled conditions will begin to calm down from 9pm as the wet weather moves away from the UK.
The dramatic weather comes just days after the country experienced its coldest night of the fall so far; temperatures dropped to -12.6C overnight in Scotland; this was the coldest temperature recorded on a November night in 15 years.
The Met Office’s forecast for the week explains that Tuesday is expected to be mostly dry and settled in many areas, but conditions will turn cold and frosty overnight. The weather will change as the week progresses and the winds will become milder as they come from the west.
This change will also bring stronger winds and occasional rain, causing the weather to become more unstable after brief periods of calm.
Experts from Netweather.tv shared that as the low pressure area moves eastward on Monday, a northward flow will occur for a short time, resulting in cooler conditions. However, this will be short-lived as high pressure from the Atlantic helps the weather calm down and become more stable.
They said: “Although it will still be cool, temperatures are not expected to drop as sharply as they did on Wednesday earlier in the week, which will make conditions a little more comfortable.”
